(3.B.9.) Soldiers and units will continue to comply with the ABCP standards.Į. (3.B.8.) all current height/weight and ABCP assessments remain valid until further notice.ĭ. (3.B.7.) the height/weight and ABCP assessment conducted in conjunction with record APFT/diagnostic ACFT testing for all components is temporarily suspended until further notice.Ĭ. Effective immediately, adjustments to the training and conduct of the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT), Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), and Army Body Composition Program (ABCP) assessment screening and tape-testing are implemented to better support COVID-19 mitigation measures, while still ensuring the physical readiness of our Soldiers. FRAGO 1 directs specific adjustments concerning the Army Body Composition Program (ABCP) during the COVID-19 outbreak. COVID guidelines don’t mean anything, as the Army has obviously cured COVID.įRAGO 1 TO HQDA EXORD 164-20 ARMY PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (APFT) AND ARMY COMBAT FITNESS TEST (ACFT) DURING THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) OUTBREAK (FOUO), DTG: 272156Z APR 20. Update 1: Someone must have reported my post to my CDR, because we’re now taking a company wide record APFT, regardless of whether we’ve passed our last one or not.Īnswer to Question 1: IG says yeah, it will still reflect on that soldiers ERB and they can still be flagged. I’m just asking questions that no one around me has the answers to and to be honest, reddit probably doesn’t either. How the hell is that gonna work? As long as you pass tape you stay in the Army? I think this new test is great, however no one is going to be flagged for 2 years. What’s going to happen when the commander performs an APFT for their company, and their soldiers fail? Will it now count as an actual failure? Is there anything stating a commander cannot administer a record APFT? I’ve seen that even with COVID guide lines in place, I still see companies conducting record APFTs, and if you haven’t seen it in person, then I’m sure you’ve witnessed it on WTF Army news Soldiers who have a passing APFT do not need to take it until the ACFT becomes the test of record. OF MY UNDERSTANDING October will be the month that the ACFT is implemented. However, I hope I’m not the only one confused as hell also. I also think the 2 minute plank for a minimum passing score is dope if you can’t do a leg tuck, because half the Army was about to be Thanos snapped out of it. I’m all about this new PT Test, I love it. Do not answer n00b questions on the main boards.
